Project Description

In partnership with Mainlevel Consulting, based in Germany, Cloneshouse is rendering technical assistance to Social Impact GmbH on its ARRIVES project. ARRIVES is aimed at Nigerian refugees who decide to return from Germany to their home country. As such, the project locations are Nigeria and Germany. ARRIVES supports the goal of economically sustainable reintegration in Nigeria through coaching sessions that participants undergo throughout the return and reintegration process, from the initial business idea to starting and establishing their business in Nigeria or taking up employment.

In this assignment, Cloneshouse will plan and implement a comprehensive baseline study, which involves revising the log frame and Theory of Change (ToC) and preparing the monitoring framework. We’ll also conduct two thorough evaluations (mid-term and final). These evaluations would be carried out in accordance with the OECD/DAC quality standards and cover the five OECD/DAC evaluation criteria of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. In addition, cross-cutting issues will be taken into account and the intervention logic (log frame) will be analyzed. The findings we get will then be taken into account in the design and integration of support services for voluntary return and reintegration in other countries of origin.

Our Mid-term Evaluation will focus on operational learning, analysis of the internal logic of the project proposal, adjustments to the log frame and Theory of Change (ToC), review of the quality of the monitoring framework and feasibility, including the quality of the secondary data collected.
Our final Evaluation will focus on impact assessment and learning processes.

Project Duration: July 2024 to October 2025
