UN-SPIDER Crowdsource Mapping for Emergency and Disaster Response

Taking note of the need to connect virtual communities (in which we are in support of) with the space industry as well as the disaster management community, the UN-SPIDER (United Nations Space Based Information for Disaster and Emergency Response) Programme is carrying out this one-year project (“Space-based information for Crowdsource Mapping”) aiming at identifying specific actions that could ensure a closer cooperation among the three communities. Cloneshouse Nigeria was responsible for providing capacity building during this two year program with the United Nations office in Austria. This included providing technical assistance during the Technical Advisory missions to the the government of Cabo Verde, Ghana and Nigeria
