The Cloneshouse African Internship Programme (CAIP) offers Individuals (male and female), the platform to learn and carry out Monitoring and Evaluation activities like data collection and data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and advanced monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, learning studies, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing, and so forth.

The Cloneshouse African Internship Program typically seeks candidates from all across Africa, with both experience and inexperience in data collection activities and data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and results-based monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, learning studies, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing. It is with pleasure that we open the opportunity up to not just people with experience in the field but also to those who are looking to begin their career in Monitoring and Evaluation.

Consequently, it is with great pleasure that we introduce to you, our Evaluator Interns for Fall 2024.

Rodrigue Kirava

Rodrigue is a highly experienced specialist in environmental compliance, social safeguarding, and sustainable development, with over 10 years of experience working across Africa. He has managed compliance for development and humanitarian projects in sectors like infrastructure, sustainable agriculture, and climate change adaptation. Rodrigue’s expertise includes Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Grievance Redress Mechanisms (GRM), Environmental Monitoring and Mitigation Plans (EMMP), and integrated waste management. He is also skilled in addressing critical social issues, including Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Gender Equality, and Youth and Social Inclusion (GEYSI), as well as Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) management and Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) processes.

Maimouna Ndiaye

Maimouna is a dedicated veterinarian with a specialization in food safety and a strong background in genomic research, particularly on antimicrobial resistance in Enterobacteriaceae. She is passionate about advancing animal welfare standards and has consistently advocated for higher ethical treatment of animals throughout her career. Maimouna also brings valuable skills in data analysis and programming, which she plans to leverage in her pursuit of becoming a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. A graduate of the Inter-States School of Veterinary Sciences and Medicine in Dakar, Senegal, she is committed to applying her expertise to make a meaningful impact in the fields of animal welfare, food safety, and public health monitoring.

Hamidine Boukari Mahamadou Saminou

Mahamadou Saminou is a Nigerien student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at ADU. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Aspire Leaders Program 2024, which trains promising leaders globally. As co-founder and Director of External Relations at Cova Consulting Agency, Mahamadou has showcased exceptional project management and communication skills, significantly contributing to the agency’s growth. His passion for monitoring and evaluation drives his professional aspirations, aiming to become a renowned expert capable of addressing complex projects with innovative solutions. Mahamadou’s determination and vision motivate him to continuously enhance his skills and establish himself as a key player in the monitoring and evaluation sector.

Dawad Mohamed Abdoul Moumine

Dawad has over ten years of experience in the humanitarian field, focusing on rural development and poverty alleviation. He holds a higher technician’s diploma in civil engineering and a master’s degree in public works, equipping him with strong technical skills. Committed to combating global warming and promoting environmental protection, Dawad advocates for wood-free construction techniques and the use of stabilized earth. As a MEL manager, he has demonstrated his ability to manage complex projects while integrating social aspects like women’s inclusion. With over six years of experience in designing and managing projects across various donors, Dawad’s expertise is truly remarkable.

Konare Sitan

Sitan Konare is a research and learning officer passionate about data and its application to impactful projects. She is excited to join Cloneshouse as a Monitoring and Evaluation Intern. With a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Sitan has experience as a monitoring, evaluation, and learning assistant, project supervisor, junior researcher, survey enumerator, and community development agent. She aims to foster an organizational culture centered on monitoring, evaluation, and learning, using data to inform decisions and enhance program impact. Sitan is confident that her discipline, analytical skills, and teamwork ability will enable her to contribute significantly to Cloneshouse’s projects while learning from experts to advance her professional development.
