We are pleased to announce that our Cloneshouse Summer 2023 Interns have helped increase global appreciation of the benefits of systematic evaluation through the World Evaluation Case Competition (WECC) 2023.
Our interns who participated in the world competition with a work group name, “Harice Consulting” (for the purpose of the competition) emerged Second Place and Africa Champions.
Likewise last year, our team of Young Impact Associates (YIAs) from the Mastercard Foundation YIA programme which we implemented on behalf of the Mastercard Foundation participated in the 2022 World Evaluation Case Competition, and emerged Third Place.
At WECC, teams of students from countries around the globe analyze a case involving evaluation of a program offered by a non-profit or government organization. Working together in their home country, either online or in person, the student teams prepare a submission to convey their understanding of the key issues in the case and their recommendations for action.
We specially salute and congratulate Evelyn Ayede, Eric Andrew, and Adamu Hashimu who worked on the main activity on the competition day. These three Nigerians among our African Interns for Summer 2023 along with their cohort colleagues supporting them have done Cloneshouse and the nation proud.
